The Westbank Library Wins a National Award

We are delighted to congratulate the Westbank Library on winning the American Library Association’s most prestigious award, the 2010 John Cotton Dana Award for public relations. The ALA has given the Library this much-deserved recognition for their three year effort to build, and fund, a new library while keeping to their mission: One Library; Two Locations. Director Beth Fox and Trustee Lyle Thormann were on-site to receive the JCD Award at the American Library Association Conference in Washington DC on Sunday, June 27th. They were honored at a cocktail reception and are bringing home a plaque for all the library supporters! Check out their entry.
