On Saturday, January 4, over 300 people showed up to celebrate the grand reopening of the William R. “Bill” Ellis Memorial Library in Port Aransas.
Library Director Stefanie Bara and Assistant Director Toby De La Rosa welcomed the eager patrons. The library had been closed since August 2017 because of heavy damage during Hurricane Harvey.
The library is decorated with an appropriate nautical theme. Attendees were very pleased with the expansion, which doubled the size of the original library.
