SELF-e is BiblioBoard’s newest service and it’s in partnership with Library Journal. SELF-e allows libraries to support local writers and indie authors by showcasing their books in the Indie Texas collection.  All books submitted through SELF-e are evaluated by Library Journal for quality. Those books selected for top quality are available across the US and Canada, allowing authors to gain additional exposure.   You can find a quick (3 minute) video on the SELF-e tool here: https://vimeo.com/142144990

Creator is the second community engagement program offered by BiblioBoard. The Creator program allows libraries to curate and showcase multimedia digital exhibits. You can showcase digital archives and special collections along with video and audio of public events, children’s programs, art exhibits, local musicians and much more. Here are a couple of ways other forward thinking libraries are using Creator.
