Liberty Hill’s storytime has become so popular they have added a second weekly storytime!
They have a very active book club that meets once a month. Sometimes they go see the movie adaptation of a book they have read. Snacks are always provided at meetings and are based on something in the book… dog bone, anyone? How about a spring roll? Here they are reading The Art of Racing in the Rain.
And Liberty Hill provides weekly art classes that meet outside in the pavilion through the fall.
Liberty Hill has recently joined the consortium for ebooks and it is very popular with their patrons. They have also recently added notary and proctor services free to the public and have expanded their hours to two evenings a week. The library is the only source of DVDs to the community and they even circulate cake pans!
Sounds like a much loved library in their community! Keep up the good work, Liberty Hill! Thank you for the update!
