Art & Summer Reading

In-Person Rural Libraries – Training Opportunity

Explore IMAS’ approach to facilitating art activities that engage participants of all ages. These workshops include materials for hands-on lessons during the course and lesson plans for sessions to be facilitated in libraries. The workshop will be a 3-hour session where three lessons will be presented and taught.

This will be a free training and will take place April 24th from 9 am – 12 pm at the Dr. Hector P. Garcia Memorial Library in Mercedes, TX. While this training is meant for rural libraries, anyone is able to attend. Spots are limited to 20, so please register HERE to join!

Digital Navigation for Rural Libraries – Training Opportunity

Join Dianna Landes, director of the Lakehills Area Library, as she guides us through digital navigation. Find out how we can help our patrons learn technical skills that are vital in our highly digitized world.
